Powder

Snowboarding is very fun, but when you're boarding through powder, the sport gets twenty times better. Powder snow is the best snow to board in, because it is easy to challenge yourself into getting better, and its really soft, so it doesn't hurt as much when you fall.

Injuries

Snowboarding is a great sport, but it comes with consequences. Injuries are very common in the sport of snowboarding. I have just recently broken my wrist snowboarding. I hit a jump way to fast, so i cleared the landing and landed on the flat, catching myself with my hands, and snapping my growth plate out of place. I am in a cast now, and hoping to get out back out there as soon as I can. Everyone who snowboards will have an injury at some point, whether it is serious or not. Everyone has wipe outs, but that's just a part of the sport.

My old Dog Finn

I used to have a dog whose name was Finnegan, Finn for short. When we got him, we knew that we would only get to have him for one year. This was because he was an autism service dog. That means that we had to care for him and train him to be a very calm and tame dog. He was an amazing dog, and I really enjoyed caring for him, and it was really hard to let him go.

What Snowboarding Means To Me

I love snowboarding, and it means a lot to me. When I'm snowboarding, I feel free of stress, and problems, I can just focus on perfecting more tricks, and challenging myself to get better and better. I've been snowboarding for three years, and I'm so glad that I found it.
